Royal Air Maroc (RAM) and the CDG Group join forces to boost the TravelTech ecosystem in Morocco, a strategic partnership agreement was signed at the RAM headquarters in Casablanca, in the presence of Hamid Addou (CEO of RAM), Khalid Safir (DG of the CDG Group), Noureddine Mouaddib (President of the International University of Rabat) and Yassine Abderrazik Haddaoui (DG of CDG Invest).
This collaboration aims to support Moroccan startups and diaspora entrepreneurs operating in the travel-related technology sector.
On the sidelines of Gitex Africa Morocco scheduled from May 31 to June 2, 2024 in Marrakech, this partnership aims to promote innovative solutions adapted to the needs of tourism.
The partners commit to strengthening their support programs, facilitating access to markets and encouraging investment in viable startups.
Hamid Addou stressed that this initiative will lay the foundations for a dynamic Moroccan TravelTech ecosystem, aligned with RAM‘s digitalization strategy, particularly in view of the 2030 FIFA World Cup.
For his part, Khalid Safir affirmed the CDG Group’s commitment to promoting young Moroccan entrepreneurs and strengthening financing and support mechanisms in this strategic sector.
This synergy aims to position Morocco as a major player in innovation in TravelTech and to accelerate the digital transformation of the tourism sector.
