Casablanca is preparing to host, on November 28, 2024, the 2nd edition of Cyber Security Day, a key event to strengthen cybersecurity in Morocco. Under the theme « From resilience to acceleration: what priorities for Morocco in the face of cyber threats in 2025? », this event will bring together experts, decision-makers, and researchers to explore the challenges of cybersecurity in a constantly changing world.
This edition promises a rich program: discussion panels, keynotes, practical workshops, hacking competitions and networking opportunities. The topics covered will include cloud environments, the Internet of Things and the impact of generative AI, both perceived as a threat (malware, deepfakes) and an opportunity to strengthen defense systems.
Reda Bakkali, CEO of Cyberforces, stressed the importance of this event: “Faced with the acceleration of cyber threats, it is crucial to no longer only think in terms of protection, but of resilience, Cyber Security Day 2024 is not simply an event, it is a platform for reflection and collaboration to anticipate, understand and adapt to the new dynamics of cybersecurity in Morocco.”
Participants will be invited to consider ways to transform current challenges into opportunities, in order to ensure sustainable cyber resilience.
