APEBI, the Federation of Information Technologies, Telecommunications and Offshoring, has reached a key milestone in its regional development mission with the launch meeting of its branch in Oujda, held at the headquarters of the Regional Investment Center (CRI) of the Oriental Region.
This initiative is part of the enlightened vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, who called for strengthening advanced regionalization to enhance the potential of the territories and unleash the creative energies of the Moroccan regions. Echoing this call, APEBI reaffirms its commitment to supporting the digital dynamism of the regions by highlighting local skills and the unique opportunities they offer.
During this meeting with Mr. Rachid Rami, Acting Director of the CRI of the Oriental Region, the emphasis was placed on the strategic assets of this region. Full of qualified talents and a growing pool of skills, the Oriental Region also offers attractive incentives for companies wishing to set up there, ranging from modern infrastructure to tailor-made support programs.
A Shared Vision for an Innovative Ecosystem
The opening of regional branches by APEBI embodies a strong ambition:
- Encourage innovation and collaboration: by promoting the sharing of expertise and the emergence of high-impact digital projects.
- Supporting the development of local skills: by mobilizing talent and resources to make the region a leading technology hub.
- Accelerating digital transformation: thanks to a synergy between public, private and civil society actors, in accordance with the Digital Morocco 2030 strategy.

The APEBI branch in the Oriental region aims to unite local forces and increase the region’s attractiveness for technological investments. This initiative is in line with the objectives of the Digital Morocco 2030 program, which aims to position Morocco as a regional digital hub, a catalyst for innovation and growth.

This meeting allowed to initiate constructive exchanges and to lay the foundations of a solid cooperation. Through this branch, APEBI intends to support the Oriental Region in its ambition to become a key player in digital transformation.
